Qtrax.co.za was for many years the homepage for Western Cape Sandboarders and help to those studying for the Comptia Linux+ exam. Qtrax will continue to serve these two communities via the links on this homepage.

Qtrax offers support services with regard to Microsoft, Linux and the Cisco technologies plus network cabling. Qtrax also does Linux training, either Linux+ exam preparation or a one day course that includes notes and a bootable flash drive that installs the latest version of Linux, or runs it from memory.

Fire and Flood recovery services are also offered which include temporary facility preparation and assesor assistance with regard to insurance claims. Servers and PC's are recovered if possible and restored to your network. Replacement units are configured and backups restored. Our team works 24 hours a day to get you up and running again.

Various Server and PC backup systems are offered. An often overlooked area is individual PC backups for which we normally install free opensource software that we configure to backup your Outlook and Office files, normally set to back up once per week - however a daily backup can be configured. We also offer a periodic backup that is stored offsite.

Online UPS systems, generators and the circuitry to prevent phase problems are also installed by Qtrax. We will provide manuals and training to make sure your staff cope with an Eskom power outage. We also will do load balancing analysis to help you reduce your power bill.
